A lot of businesses need to train their salespeople if they want to move the needle and generate profits. Developing high-quality talent is difficult, and building pipelines that enable it has historically been very expensive.
Fortunately Yoodli is a brand that is working on various AI-enabled solutions. It promises to bring costs for organisations down significantly while improving the quality of the training that their employees receive. Of course, we were sceptical about whether Yoodli could deliver in 2026, so we wanted to find out what it was good at doing and what it wasn’t so good at. You can get an honest overview of the tool and whether it’s worth using in your organisation.
Who is Yoodli for?

The first question, of course, is who Yoodli is for. It markets itself as a company that designs products for mid-market to Fortune 500 organisations needing to train and certify people at scale. Instead of taking the usual passive e-learning approach, Yoodli claims to offer a learning-by-doing solution to skills development, which it believes is more reliable and effective. The platform serves four main organisational functions:
- Sales enablement: allowing new reps to ramp up their skills faster and then certifying their pitch readiness through interactive, scenario-based role play.
- Individualised communication coaching across large employee populations, with measurable skill tracking and improvement. This means that even enterprise-sized firms can roll out solutions quickly and see substantial improvements in team performance.
- Corporate communication benefit: Yoodli enables executives, leaders, and spokespeople to perform better, it claims, on live earnings calls and keynotes.
What we liked about Yoodli
Having used the tool, there were many things that we really liked about Yoodli. Here are some examples of what you can look forward to if you start using the service.
Closed-loop skill development
One of the biggest advantages of using Yoodli is its native closed-loop skill development. The service has an interactive AI role-play tool that uses targeted gap analysis to discover where learners are falling behind and which aspects of their learning require improvement. Beyond initial lessons, it provides ongoing coaching, which we found was extremely useful for reinforcing our learning and enabling us to reach verifiable certification faster. Everything, of course, happens in a single workflow instead of in isolated tools, and this is convenient if your software tool stack is already quite long.
Demonstrated time savings
Using this tool also saved us a lot of time. Once you have access to the service, it provides enterprise-level efficiency gains, with many of the solutions claiming enormous improvements in time management. For example, Snowflake was able to reclaim 1,200+ manager coaching hours per quarter, while Harness reduced pitch review time by 75%. We believe these sorts of gains are true, given our experience with the software.
Custom enterprise frameworks
How your enterprise evaluates performance and sales skill levels is probably different from your competitors and certainly from companies in other industries. Therefore, we liked the fact that Yoodli offers the ability to evaluate performance against your organisation’s proprietary frameworks and messaging standards. It can take your existing playbook and then define success against that, rather than defining it against some sort of generic standard that the software company itself developed. This flexibility is critical if you want meaningful feedback and for your staff to develop measurable and relevant skills.
Workflow integration
Adding a new piece of software to any mid-market or enterprise-level organisation is always a massive hassle. A lot of work has to go on behind the scenes updating workflows and ensuring all the pieces fit together.
This is why we liked the fact that Yoodli can embed into existing enterprise stacks and learning management workflows. It doesn’t require a complete rewiring of your existing practices or even the solutions you’re using. What this means is that you can make assignment distribution and progress tracking more streamlined, but you don’t necessarily have to perform a time-consuming and costly build-out.
Enterprise-level security and compliance
Finally, we were pleased to see that Yoodli offers enterprise-level security and compliance. Not only is it GDPR compliant, but it’s also SOC2 Type 2 certified, which is helpful for organisations that have to prove that they are handling internal training data with caution.
Things we didn’t like
As with any tool, there were some minor things that we didn’t particularly like about Yoodli. None of these is a real deal-breaker, and it depends on what type of customer you are.
Of course, Yoodli has an enterprise-heavy focus, which means that it doesn’t scale particularly well for small businesses. It’s built around large enterprise teams, so it could introduce unnecessary complexity and operational overhead if you run a small team or you are a solo user.
Another issue is that maximising the value of the tool requires significant administrative effort. You have to tailor it to the scenarios that your organisation is facing and provide it with accurate standards when it comes to employee training. If you don’t spend the time doing this, then you won’t end up with meaningful feedback. You can’t simply ask an AI to do it for you unless that AI knows about your organisation already and how you train your people.
For example, you may need to calibrate internal grading rubrics and map the tool to company sales and communication playbooks. With the advent of AI, this is becoming simpler, but it still requires a bit of effort, which means that this enterprise-grade tool is not necessarily a turnkey solution.
There’s also an AI interaction ceiling, as there is for most products that incorporate AI. Artificial intelligence is useful for practice and baseline certification, but role play doesn’t always replicate nuanced, highly unpredictable human-to-human behaviour.
Final verdict: what did we think of Yoodli?
What is our overall impression of Yoodli? Ultimately, we are going to give it our five-star rating, especially for enterprise organisations. It’s one of the cleanest and most efficient ways to bring sales staff to a higher standard within a large organisation without having to spend an enormous amount of the company’s budget on training and development.
