R136 is a massive, young stellar grouping, located in the 30 Doradus Nebula. It is relatively young, aged at apporximately one million years old. The region of 30 Doradus Nebula is a focus of astronomical interest since it's a turbulent star-birth region. Moreover, though there are other spheres in the sky where star-birth can be observed, none is as large or as prolific as 30 Doradus - making it the ultimate objective of many studies. (Source: NASA)
