The Dyson fan is a bladeless table fan that uses Air Multiplier technology to generate smooth, uninterrupted airflow with no unpleasant buffeting. Using an airfoil-shaped ramp (like a cross-section through an airplane wing), airflow is amplified 15 times. This creates a smooth, powerful airflow, with no need for fast-spinning blades. The blades on conventional fans cause unpleasant buffeting because they chop the air before it hits you.
