National Geographic has created a short documentary about Earth’s atmosphere, explaining the peculiar nature of its behavior. Atmosphere – the layer of gases which surround our planet has fluid-like properties, form cloud patterns and create wave-like motions in the air. In fact, it has been referred to by scientists as an “ocean of air” and some professional surfers already use it as a new medium for surfing, just like on water waves. This video is part of National Geographic’s successful series – “Earth – the Biography.
