Fujitsu’s “FLEPia” Electronic Paper is, in essence, a very thin, portable touch-screen which allows users to view data uploaded to the device via an SD memory card or a wireless LAN connection. The novel gadget, which is able to display up to 4096 colors at a 768 x 1024 resolution, was designed by Fujitsu and is currently being used in a test as a menu in a restaurant in Japan. Aside from displaying user-provided content, the device can also be used to browse the internet using an onscreen keyboard and stylus. FLEPia currently comes in both A4 and A5 versions, weighing 320g and 480g, respectively.
