During CES 2009 Toshiba demonstrated its upcoming 512GB SSD drive using its new 43nm technology. The drive is said to reach a maximum sequential read speed of 240MB/s and the maximum write speed is said to be 200MB/s. The 2.5 inch drive will start mass production in the 2Q of 2009 and the projected pricing for the 512GB version is $1,600.00 (smaller versions will also be introduced later in 2009).
