Celeno Communications developed a technology that allows high-definition video to be streamed over a wireless link. The company’s patent pending OptimizAIR technology operates over standard WiFi, and according to Celeno, doubles the throughput and increases range as much as ten times compared to off the shelf 802.11 networks. Moreover, the system achieves absolute zero packet loss, thus delivering flicker-free video quality – in this clip, filmed at the recent IBC exhibition, Celeno demonstrates how HD video can be seamlessly streamed over a distance of 113 meters across the exhibition floor. |
