At CES 2009 Intel showcased a unique 3D virtual world powered by the company’s new i7 Core processor. This rear projection 3D capacitive touch panel (no multi touch sadly), highly resembles the “holographic” technology depicted in Steven Spielberg’s 2002 movie “Minority Report.” Intel has no known plans to market the technology but it does give us a look at the amazing power of modern computing technology.
