During CES 2009 LG demonstrated its upcoming ultra thin OLED display. The 0.85mm thick 15” display uses Organic Light-Emitting Diodes (OLEDs) to display a very bright image with extremely wide viewing angles and very high contrast (no specific numbers were given by LG at the CES). According to the company the unit should be in production in 2009 and should be available for an undisclosed price by the end of the year.
