Seekway has created a spectacular 3D LED display capable of displaying full 3D images at 30 fps. The prototype is, in essence, a 16x16x16 grid of individual interconnected color diodes that are able to reproduce images with an impressive amount of detail. Seekway now plans to construct an even grander display, which will sport a grid of 48x48x48 diodes. As the 4096-LED device hits production phase, there's still no information on its pricing or availability. |
