The LS246H is a higher-end 23.6" monitor from Asus. Designed more for home than business use, the widescreen, ultraslim monitor features a full-HD maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080, a 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio (typical: 1000:1) and a 2ms response time. In addition to a standard VGA connection, the LS246H has an HDMI input.
The monitor is identical to the MS246H, except for a touch-sensitive control dial, which replaces LED buttons. The LS246H also aims to be eco-friendly, with less power consumption and hazardous material content than previous models. The exclusive Splendid Video Intelligence Technology optimizes video performance and image fidelity by enhancing color, brightness, contrast, and sharpness. 5 preset video modes (Scenery, Theater, Game, Night View, and Standard) can be selected via a hotkey. Quick response time of 2ms (GTG) eliminates ghosting and tracers for more fluid video playback.
