Acer chairman JT Wang is extremely confident when it comes to his company's laptop department. So confident, in fact, that he expects to overtake HP by the end of the year. "We have responded faster than our competitors to the demand in the market," the Wall Street Journal cites Wang as saying. "We are one of a very few that is able to respond to the market when demand stabilized in the latter part of the second quarter because we were prepared." (source: tomshardware.com)
