On Tuesday, Intel launched its "Lynnfield" processor family, part of the company's effort to bring its Nehalem architecture to mainstream price points. The launch includes the first Core i5 processor. The launch includes three quad-core microprocessors: the Core i7-870 and Core i7-860, as well as the Core i5-750.
