The newly assembled Federal Communications Commission is not holding back. In the wake of Apple blocking several Google Voice-related apps from the iPhone, the FCC on Friday penned letters to Apple, AT&T, and Google requesting detailed information about the incident and the companies' roles in approving apps. Earlier this week, popular third-party Google Voice apps for the iPhone were reportedly removed from the iPhone App Store, including GV Mobile and VoiceCentral. (source: hraunfoss.fcc.gov)
