The launch of a European Space Agency gravity mapping satellite, called Goce, has been delayed. The Goce satellite will map minute variations in the pull of gravity experienced across the planet. Controllers suspended the countdown just seven seconds away from lift-off at 1421 GMT on Monday from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in north-west Russia. It is not yet clear what the problem was, or how long the launch will remain postponed.    (source: news.bbc.co.uk)
