Microsoft Launches Windows 7 beta at CES

Windows 7 Beta will launch to the public tomorrow, via download.microsoft.com, but this newspaper has already obtained a copy and installed it on Dell’s superb Studio Hybrid PC – that’s exactly the sort of stylish, miniature computer Microsoft wants users to have in their living rooms, at the centre of the much-vaunted “digital home”. The installation process took over an hour, but once up and running Windows 7’s advantages were impressive.    (source: telegraph.co.uk)
