Samsung, Yahoo, Intel Launch TV Widgets Soon

Samsung Electronics, Intel, and Yahoo put two key pieces of their plan in place to connect TVs to Internet-equipped widgets this year. Samsung agreed to support the technology inside of selected 2009 TVs, and Adobe said that it would port a version of its Flash Lite technology to the Intel Media Processor CE 3100, a key component in Yahoo Widget Channel-compatible set-top boxes.    (source: pcmag.com)
