Conservation Gets Fresh Language

An international group of conservation workers is seeking to standardize the language of their discipline. The team believes that common terms for conservation’s problems and tools are necessary if the field is to become truly scientific. The new system is being put into practice at every level, from the global 'Red List' of endangered species to bird conservationists working in remote regions such as the highlands of Kenya.    (source: nature.com)
