The seven astronauts aboard space shuttle Discovery made final preparations Saturday morning for their trip back to Earth, after NASA engineers determined that a mystery object that came off the spacecraft Friday would not be needed during the shuttle's journey home. After waking up around 2:30 a.m. ET Saturday, the crew arranged Discovery's seats for the return from orbit and got ready to don the bulky orange suits designed to provide an air supply in an emergency.
