The latest release of Linux’s Ubuntu platform has been distributed this week, bringing it to version 8.04. It updates the window manager and graphical display, as well as a number of small changes. There is a version of new platform is made specifically for server systems, as well as for home desktops. On the desktop side, the most worthy addition is functionality to add a partition on a computer hard drive for Ubuntu to co-exist with Windows.    (source: ubuntu.com)
