MICRON TECHNOLOGY announced that it is sampling 4Gb DDR3 modules, designed using 2Gb components, to provide the industry’s highest-density DDR3 modules for notebook computers. The firm reckons high-density memory modules are becoming essential as laptops take on more of the memory-intensive tasks once the exclusive domain of the desktop computer.    (source: theinquirer.net)
