Intel to Bring 3D CPUs in 2H of 2011

Intel is planing a historic move in the second half of 2011 - mass production of the first 3 dimensional chip. The new generation of processors will have better performance and lower power consumption and although the cost will be slightly higher at first later on Intel hope that the technology will bring it down. The first processor to use the technology will be the 22nm Ivy Bridge scheduled for release later this year.    (source: newsroom.intel.com)
